picture
A small rowboat built during the summer when I lived and worked with some friends down at the shore.
picture
The same boat as above. I outfitted it with a quick sail of plastic, and my brother and I went for a quick sail right off the beach and into the ocean. It worked, but not without problems that I never really had a chance to fix. We moved it place to place on a trailer pulled by bicycle!
picture
A sculpture of a Viking longship measuring 25 feet long and built during my senior year at art school.
picture
A twelve foot boat built of cedar while in high school. I stepped it with an oak mast and sails that a neighbor gave me when they saw me building a boat in our yard. Unfortunately I never got to play with it as much as I would of liked.
picture
Another view showing the rigging in place. All of the boats here I have designed and built myself, after studying and reading books.
