Articulated Claw March 2004

This Claw was made for the "Benaddiction" show at the Goliath Visual Space. It measures about 18 inches long, and it articulates.

A steel sculpture incorparating some techniques and ideas from armoring.

Red clay. 12 inches tall. For awhile I was interested in sculpting figures out of clay.

Plaster, steel, wood, ckickenwire and burlap. This piece stands about 7 feet tall. At the wings the width is about 18-20 inches. I did a series of these types of birds with prominent beaks and long necks.

Plaster bust. This was a complicated life-size sculpture done from drawings for a movie project. Working with the director I designed a series of futuristic space-suit armors, of which this bust was commissioned as a promotion.

Angel figure.

Longship. Wood, fabric, and steel.

This measures 25 feet long. It is not an exact replica but was an attempt on my part to capture the beautiful lines of a viking longboat.

Another articulating sculpture. This one is about 20 inches tall and is made of mild steel.
