Italy, Arezzo.
The Joust of the Saracen. This was a festival held every year in Arezzo. The whole town gets involved, with each section, or gate (porto) supplying there own infantry unit to march around town and go to the cathedral to get the golden lance. The jousters joust right in the town square against a quantain for points. It was quite rowdy, with lot's of pagentry. The town still has many of it's medeival features.
